Hostel · 📍 Montréal, Canada
🔗 https://pvthostel.comAuberge PVT Hostel is an independent, owner-run hostel in Montréal's Plateau — 15 rooms and suites, a shared kitchen, a lounge and patio, self-serve laundry, bikes, board games, and a house that runs in English, French and Spanish. PVT stands for Permis Vacances-Travail: we're a working-holiday house at heart, so we know what it's like to land in a new city and need a base while you find your feet. Helpers here are treated like team, not free labour — defined shifts, written expectations, a bed of your own, and enough time off to actually see Montréal. Typical helper roles: front desk and check-in, housekeeping and turnover, common-area and patio upkeep, social media, and guest events. English or French essential, Spanish a real asset. Minimum stay of a few weeks preferred so you're not learning the house on your last day. Non-smoking, pet-friendly, 24-hour keyed entry, free high-speed WiFi. Registered Québec tourist accommodation establishment, CITQ No. 292725. We run our own direct booking engine and publish a Responsible & Ethical Revenue Pledge — we care about doing this properly.
